Yes, I like piss-easy pussy-games.
I think most people rate Roomryder low because the lack of clearness for how to play the game. I see no reason for why I must keep the cursor at the bottom of the game screen. Making it move along mouseY pos for the whole X axis cannot be too hard and I am sure the game would get better grades then. Those red and green lights would be to much more use if it lit red when the cursor is close to the edge and not only outside.
I am pretty sure that no hitboxes extends their image. It is just that the hitboxes seems to move faster than the images. Both for the character and for the walls. This may also get misstaken by many that thinks the hitboxes are too big. People would probably not notice much of this if you make the hitboxes slightly smaller than the images. A tip for you players is to stay close to the lower wall that you move away from.
I see in the reviews that you already have made the walls wider, but since you also made this news post about "Frustrated Voters", another tip would also be to make the game more calming. Like make sections with walls so players could rest between the sections. I am very calm myself but some people with stress issues may find it hard to focus on the smooth movements for so long.
On the plus side.
The gameplay was very calm otherwise, though having that nuclear plot. Without sudden changes that requires fast reactions. Smooth movements. Repetitive patterns.
The graphics are really nice. Fancy animation with the walls entering from the sides. Well animated screen changes. The character turns red after collision instead of starting over directly.
The game was not CPU intensive. I have a pretty old computer and most games on Newgrounds lags too much for me. This game did run at around 8% and did not lag at all.
To top all this I am also the proud first owner of the "Bronze" medal -- a great birthday present for me!
I would not write a this long review because all my long reviews get deleted.
